INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Real Experience. Real Responsibility. Real Impact.

ÃÛÌÒÉç. is proud to offer an exceptional internship program for students pursuing careers in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Each year, we welcome driven students from leading colleges across California and beyond who are ready to apply what they’ve learned in the classroom to meaningful, large-scale infrastructure projects.

Since 1945, we’ve built our reputation on integrity, performance, and investing in people. Our internship program reflects that same commitment, developing the next generation of environmental construction leaders through structured learning, hands-on experience, and strong mentorship.

A Culture Built to Grow People

ÃÛÌÒÉç. was founded on integrity, fairness, and a people-first approach, and those values still guide us today. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating an environment where individuals can grow, contribute, and thrive.

Our culture is family-oriented but performance-driven. Interns are supported by skilled mentors, experienced project managers, and knowledgeable coworkers who are invested in their success. You’ll also have opportunities to engage directly with executive leadership, gaining insight into how strategic decisions shape our projects and our future.

We believe growth happens when responsibility meets support. That’s why we challenge our interns while ensuring they have the tools, guidance, and encouragement to succeed.

What You’ll Learn

Our structured internship program is designed to enhance your educational experience while giving you a realistic preview of jobsite operations.

Interns learn directly from our project management teams and field leaders, where classroom theory becomes practical application. Depending on your experience and skill level, you may gain exposure to:

  • Jobsite operations and heavy civil construction methods
  • Water and wastewater treatment systems
  • Scheduling and cost controls
  • Quality management and inspections
  • Safety planning and implementation
  • Self-performed work in concrete, mechanical, and process systems
  • Collaborative delivery methods such as PDB and DB

By the end of the program, our goal is for you to walk away with hands-on field experience, new technical skills, stronger professional relationships, and a clear understanding of what a career in environmental construction truly looks like.

You won’t be observing from the sidelines; you’ll be contributing to projects that deliver clean water, protect public health, and strengthen communities across California.

Who We’re Looking For

We seek motivated students who:

  • Demonstrate integrity and accountability
  • Take initiative and ask thoughtful questions
  • Value safety and teamwork
  • Want to work in the field and understand how projects are built
  • Are passionate about sustainable infrastructure

If you’re eager to learn, ready to work hard, and interested in building infrastructure that matters, you’ll fit right in.

Your Career Can Start Here

Many of our full-time project engineers, managers, and leaders began their careers as interns. We believe in developing from within and giving young professionals meaningful opportunities early.

An internship at ÃÛÌÒÉç. isn’t just a summer experience; it’s a potential first step toward a long-term career in environmental construction.
